I serve as the Conservation Director for Greater Yellowstone Coalition, a non-profit that protects Yellowstone National Park and the lands that surround it.

I'm a long distance runner who has suffered through 14 marathons, along with races like the Pike's Peak Ascent and the Hood to Coast Relay in Oregon.

I live in Bozeman, Montana, with my wife, Karen Larsen, a social worker who is patient enough to listen to and read my first, second and third drafts and wise enough to tell me "That needs work. A lot of work. Seriously, you aren't sending that out yet, are you?"
